WAIKATO CUP 2023

Squash Waikato are excited to bring a new competition to the Waikato, called the Waikato Cup. Following on from the Nations Cup in Tauranga last year we have created a Waikato Cup, which is an inter-cluster competition to try and engage a few more clubs and players and create a fun & competitive competition.

There will be two divisions and each cluster will provide 10 players per division each week.

Div 1 – 1 x A/B1 Male, 1 x C1 Male, 1xD1 Male, 1xE1 Male, 1xF/J1 Male, 1xA/B1 Female, 1xC1 Female, 1xD1 Female, 1xE Female, 1xF/J1 Female (10 players, per cluster total)

Div 2 - 1xB2 Male, 1xC2 Male, 1xD2 Male, 1xE2 Male, 1xJ2 Male, 1xB2 Female, 1xC2 Female, 1xD2 Female, 1xE Female, 1xJ2 Female (10 players, per cluster total)

Format

1 x Match PAR 7, Best of 7 (Total of 5 Male matches and 5 Female matches per Division)

2 x Power Plays per match (Power Plays if successful, players win 2 points)

$10 per person for the whole competition

Starting Date - Tuesday 18th April (Male), Wednesday 19th April (Female) 7pm
